Ophira Ginsburg

Ophira Ginsburg at NCI focuses on global cancer equity, particularly addressing the disproportionate burden of breast and cervical cancer in low- and middle-income countries where late-stage diagnosis and lack of treatment infrastructure result in dramatically worse outcomes than in high-income settings. Her work on affordable cancer control strategies, screening scale-up, and HPV vaccination implementation in LMICs addresses the most pressing global cancer equity challenges.
