Olivier Glehen is a world leader in peritoneal surface oncology who directs one of the largest HIPEC programs in Europe. He led the landmark PRODIGE 7 randomized trial evaluating HIPEC in colorectal peritoneal metastases, which generated significant global debate about optimal treatment approaches. He has extensive expertise in gastric cancer peritoneal metastases and developed innovative neoadjuvant intraperitoneal and systemic chemotherapy approaches. His rigorous clinical trial methodology has advanced evidence-based standards in the field.
