👥Biography 个人简介

Oliver Bhatt studies the biology of tumor-associated macrophages and approaches to reprogram them from immunosuppressive to anti-tumor phenotypes. His research has applied single-cell transcriptomics to characterize the heterogeneous macrophage populations in human tumors and identified transcription factors governing the immunosuppressive tumor-associated macrophage state. He has developed CSF1R inhibition and TLR agonist strategies to deplete and reprogram tumor macrophages to enhance innate anti-tumor immune responses. His translational work has informed clinical strategies targeting the innate myeloid compartment to improve immunotherapy outcomes.
