Steffi Oesterreich has built an internationally recognized program on the biology of invasive lobular breast carcinoma, defining molecular drivers distinct from ductal carcinoma. Her lab has illuminated the role of CDH1 loss and ER signaling in lobular disease. She co-leads international ILC research consortia.
