Kevin Oeffinger

Kevin Oeffinger is a leading figure in childhood cancer survivorship at Duke whose research has defined the scope and management of late effects in long-term survivors of pediatric cancer. His studies on cardiovascular disease, metabolic syndrome, and obesity in childhood cancer survivors have established critical screening guidelines. He has been instrumental in developing the Children's Oncology Group Long-Term Follow-Up Guidelines and integrating survivorship care into primary care settings.
