Noa Efrat Ben-Baruch

Noa Efrat Ben-Baruch studies the epidemiology and outcomes of BRCA1/2-associated gynecologic cancers in the Ashkenazi Jewish population, which has a high prevalence of three BRCA founder mutations. Her registry data have characterized the distinctive presentation and outcomes of fallopian tube and primary peritoneal carcinoma in BRCA carriers compared to non-carriers in this population, and she has contributed to Israeli national guidelines on BRCA testing and risk-reducing surgery timing. She is a member of the Israeli hereditary cancer working group.
