Nikita Mehra

Nikita Mehra is a medical oncologist who has studied the biology of endocrine resistance in male breast cancer, including whether aromatase inhibitors — the standard of care despite less robust efficacy data compared to tamoxifen — generate ESR1 mutations through similar mechanisms as in female patients. He has investigated CDK4/6 inhibitors in the male breast cancer setting and contributed to multi-institutional registries collecting outcomes data for this rare patient population. He is a member of the Young Investigator Working Group of the European Society for Medical Oncology.
