Nikhil Wagle

Nikhil Wagle at Dana-Farber has pioneered studies of acquired endocrine therapy resistance in breast cancer through liquid biopsy, characterizing ESR1 mutations detectable in plasma as early markers of resistance to aromatase inhibitors. He leads the Count Me In project enabling direct patient participation in cancer genomics research, and has contributed to understanding of breast cancer evolutionary dynamics during treatment.
