Nicole Bhatt

Nicole Bhatt is an expert in homologous recombination deficiency (HRD) as a biomarker for PARP inhibitor sensitivity in ovarian cancer. Her research characterized HRD testing approaches including genomic instability scores and their clinical implementation for treatment selection. She has contributed to studies of PARP inhibitor maintenance therapy in frontline and recurrent settings and studied mechanisms of PARP inhibitor resistance. Her translational work aims to expand PARP inhibitor benefit beyond BRCA-mutated to the broader HRD-positive ovarian cancer population.
