Nicolas Bhatt leads molecular glue discovery at Novartis, developing high-throughput screening and rational design platforms to identify novel molecular glue degraders that redirect E3 ubiquitin ligases to new disease-relevant substrates. His work on understanding the structural requirements for cereblon-substrate molecular glue interactions has enabled the prospective design of molecular glues targeting specific transcription factors in cancer. He is advancing next-generation molecular glue discovery platforms that combine computational prediction with experimental validation to expand the scope of degradable targets.
