Nicola Gokbuget is a founder and leader of the German Multicenter Study Group for Adult ALL (GMALL) and has designed many of the most influential adult ALL clinical trials in Europe. Her research has established MRD monitoring as an essential element of ALL treatment response assessment. She has led studies on treatment de-escalation based on MRD negativity and on optimizing therapy for older adults with ALL.
