Nickolas Papadopoulos

Nickolas Papadopoulos co-developed CancerSEEK, the first multi-analyte blood test combining circulating tumor DNA mutations with protein biomarkers to detect eight common cancer types, and led the DETECT-A interventional study that evaluated population-level multi-cancer blood screening in 10,000 women. His multi-analyte approach combining ctDNA with eight protein markers achieved cancer detection across ovarian, liver, stomach, pancreatic, esophageal, colorectal, lung, and breast cancers in a single blood draw. The DETECT-A study provided the first real-world evidence that MCED screening can identify cancers at earlier stages than standard care. His work established the multi-analyte paradigm for cancer screening complementary to methylation-based approaches.
