Nick Wentzensen

Nick Wentzensen at NCI has contributed to cervical cancer epidemiology and screening research, including studies on HPV primary screening approaches and the natural history of cervical HPV infection and CIN (cervical intraepithelial neoplasia). His work on optimizing cervical cancer screening programs — including the transition from cytology-based Pap smears to HPV primary screening — has important public health implications for cervical cancer prevention.
