Professor Nick Thatcher is an eminent British thoracic oncologist who was a principal investigator in the SQUIRE trial evaluating necitumumab (an anti-EGFR antibody) in combination with gemcitabine-cisplatin for first-line squamous NSCLC. He has contributed to numerous landmark lung cancer trials across his career and has been a leading voice in European thoracic oncology clinical research.
