👥Biography 个人简介

Nicholas Ingolia developed ribosome profiling (Ribo-seq), a revolutionary technology that maps ribosome positions on mRNAs at nucleotide resolution, enabling genome-wide measurement of translation in cancer cells with unprecedented precision. His technology has been widely adopted to identify cancer-specific translational programs, discover previously unknown translated open reading frames, and measure drug effects on translation. He has contributed to understanding how cancer cells differentially translate specific mRNAs under stress conditions. His technological innovation has transformed the study of translational control in oncology.
