👥Biography 个人简介
Neta Erez has revealed how cancer-associated fibroblasts reprogram neutrophils to create the pre-metastatic niche, demonstrating that fibroblast-neutrophil crosstalk at distant organ sites prepares tissue for metastatic colonization before tumor cells arrive. Her work showed that tumor-conditioned neutrophils exhibit distinct transcriptional programs from steady-state neutrophils. She has contributed to understanding neutrophil plasticity in the context of organ-specific metastasis. Her research connects stromal biology with neutrophil-mediated metastatic conditioning.
