👥Biography 个人简介

Natasha Bhatt investigates how cGAS-STING activation by chromosomally unstable tumors shapes the immune microenvironment and influences immunotherapy response. Her research has shown that CIN-driven chronic STING activation can paradoxically create immunosuppressive tumor microenvironments through type I interferon-driven immunosuppressive programs. She has identified conditions under which CIN-high tumors can be sensitized to immunotherapy by converting chronic to acute cGAS-STING activation. Her work explores the therapeutic window for STING agonism versus antagonism in CIN-high cancers.
