Naoto Ueno is a breast oncologist and researcher who has studied HER2-low expression within the triple-negative breast cancer subgroup, a clinically important population given different T-DXd response patterns compared to HR-positive HER2-low disease. His work has examined pathologic HER2 scoring challenges in TNBC and investigated predictive biomarkers for ADC response. He has also contributed to understanding inflammatory breast cancer biology and led translational studies on neoadjuvant systemic therapy.
