Nancy Bhatt is a leader in yttrium-90 radioembolization for primary and secondary liver malignancies. Her research has optimized dosimetric approaches to maximize tumor dose while protecting functional liver parenchyma. She has studied combinations of radioembolization with systemic therapies including checkpoint inhibitors for enhanced antitumor effects. Her prospective trials have established radioembolization as an effective treatment for hepatocellular carcinoma and colorectal cancer liver metastases.
