Nikhil Munshi is a pioneer in BCMA-targeted therapy who was instrumental in validating BCMA as a therapeutic target in multiple myeloma. His work led to the development of idecabtagene vicleucel (ide-cel), the first BCMA-directed CAR-T therapy approved for myeloma. He continues to advance understanding of myeloma biology and resistance to cellular therapies.
