Monique Minnema investigates the mechanisms and clinical management of BTK inhibitor resistance in Waldenstrom's macroglobulinemia, including resistance mutations at the BTK C481 site and downstream escape pathways. Her clinical research addresses optimal salvage regimens for patients who fail BTK inhibitor therapy and the development of next-generation BTK inhibitors for WM. She participates in the European WM Research Group.
