Miriam Merad

Miriam Merad is a world-renowned expert in myeloid cell biology and tumor immunology. Her research has fundamentally advanced understanding of how tissue-resident macrophages and dendritic cells control immunity and how they are reprogrammed in cancer. She has driven development of myeloid-targeting therapies and led large-scale single-cell profiling studies of the tumor immune microenvironment. She directs one of the most productive immunology programs in the United States.
