Dr. Mingzhao Xing is a world-leading authority on the molecular genetics of thyroid cancer at Johns Hopkins. He discovered and defined the clinical significance of BRAF V600E mutation and TERT promoter mutations in thyroid cancer, transforming molecular diagnostics and prognostic stratification of thyroid malignancies.
