Dr. Minesh Mehta is one of the world's leading authorities on radiation oncology for brain tumors and brain metastases. He led the landmark RTOG 0933 trial establishing hippocampal-avoidance WBRT to reduce neurocognitive decline. His research has shaped the transition from WBRT to SRS-based strategies for limited brain metastases and defined quality-of-life preservation as a primary treatment endpoint.
