👥Biography 个人简介

Mikael Pittet is a leading tumor immunologist specializing in the characterization of myeloid cells and macrophages in the tumor microenvironment. His intravital imaging studies have revealed how tumor-associated macrophages dynamically interact with cancer cells and T cells in real time. He developed spatial transcriptomics approaches to map the tumor microenvironment at single-cell resolution. His work at the University of Geneva has provided fundamental insights into how myeloid reprogramming influences cancer immunotherapy outcomes.
