Miguel Angel Piris

Miguel Angel Piris is a leading Spanish lymphoma pathologist who has contributed to molecular classification of lymphomas, particularly peripheral T cell lymphomas and NK cell lymphomas. His work on the molecular pathology of these rare aggressive lymphomas and on their clinical-pathological correlates has contributed to both WHO classification revisions and clinical trial designs for these difficult-to-treat diseases.
