👥Biography 个人简介

Michael Tisdale identified proteolysis-inducing factor (PIF) as a tumor-secreted mediator of cancer cachexia and characterized its downstream ubiquitin-proteasome pathway activation in skeletal muscle. His discovery of lipid mobilizing factor (LMF) elucidated mechanisms of cancer-related lipolysis. His studies on omega-3 fatty acids and EPA as anti-cachectic agents laid groundwork for nutritional interventions in cachexia.
