Michael Taylor defined the molecular subgroups of medulloblastoma and identified distinct cells of origin for each subtype. His work established subgroup-specific trials and illuminated how cerebellar progenitors give rise to childhood brain tumors. He directs a major pediatric neuro-oncology program at Baylor.
