👥Biography 个人简介

Michael Lim investigates the interface of neurosurgery, tumor immunology, and local drug delivery for glioblastoma treatment. His research has characterized how surgical resection shapes the GBM immune microenvironment and identified immunological windows of opportunity perioperatively that can be exploited for vaccine or checkpoint inhibitor administration. He has developed convection-enhanced delivery approaches for intratumoral delivery of immunotherapy agents including STING agonists and checkpoint inhibitors directly into GBM tumors to overcome blood-brain barrier limitations. His translational neurosurgical research advances the concept of surgery as an immunotherapy platform for GBM.
