Michael Bhatt is an expert in epigenetic regulation of B cell differentiation and lymphomagenesis. His research has characterized how EZH2 gain-of-function mutations drive aberrant epigenetic silencing in germinal center-derived lymphomas. He has investigated BCL6-mediated transcriptional repression programs that are hijacked in follicular and DLBCL. His translational work has advanced EZH2 inhibitors and BCL6 degraders as novel epigenetic therapies for B cell lymphoma.
