Michael Bhatt

Michael Bhatt specializes in the surgical and systemic management of early-stage epithelial ovarian cancer, including proper staging, fertility-preserving approaches, and adjuvant chemotherapy decisions. His research examined the impact of comprehensive surgical staging on recurrence risk and survival in stage I-II disease. He has studied when and how to safely omit adjuvant platinum-taxane chemotherapy in low-risk early ovarian cancer. His work also addresses borderline ovarian tumors and their management with conservative approaches.
