👥Biography 个人简介

Maximilian Diehn investigates cancer stem cells in lung cancer with particular focus on how stem-like cells confer radioresistance through enhanced reactive oxygen species scavenging. His laboratory has developed highly sensitive circulating tumor DNA technologies to detect minimal residual disease and monitor treatment response across multiple cancer types. His translational work bridges cancer stem cell biology with liquid biopsy diagnostics and has direct clinical applications for improving outcomes after radiation therapy. He is a recipient of the NIH Director's New Innovator Award.
