👥Biography 个人简介

Max Krummel at UCSF contributed to establishing the co-inhibitory function of CTLA-4 — working with James Allison to demonstrate that CTLA-4 blockade unleashes T cell-mediated anti-tumor immunity. His co-authorship of the seminal 1995 and 1996 Science papers establishing anti-CTLA-4 as a cancer immunotherapy strategy was foundational for the entire checkpoint immunotherapy field.
