Matthew Rettig is a prostate cancer specialist at UCLA who has contributed to clinical trials and translational investigations in metastatic hormone-sensitive prostate cancer, including studies on abiraterone combinations and understanding resistance mechanisms. His work bridges basic science discoveries in AR biology with clinical trial design for mHSPC. He has led VA-based cancer research programs that address health disparities and access to novel therapies in mHSPC. Rettig's research also examines genomic determinants of response to ADT intensification.
