Matt Coffey has contributed to developing REOLYSIN (pelareorep) — a reovirus-based oncolytic therapy that preferentially replicates in RAS-activated cancer cells. His work on the mechanism of reovirus selectivity for RAS-mutant cancer cells and on clinical development of pelareorep in multiple cancer types including breast cancer and pancreatic cancer has advanced the oncolytic reovirus approach.
