Masatoshi Kudo

Masatoshi Kudo is a hepatologist and HCC specialist who has led Japan-based clinical trials combining TACE with systemic therapies and immunotherapy for intermediate and advanced HCC. He contributed to the REFLECT trial and has pioneered investigations of lenvatinib combinations in HCC. His work examines the optimal integration of locoregional TACE therapy with systemic treatment in HCC and the implications for adjuvant approaches after resection. Kudo leads one of the largest HCC clinical research programs in Asia and is editor-in-chief of a leading liver disease journal.
