Martine Extermann

Dr. Martine Extermann is a geriatric oncologist at Moffitt Cancer Center and co-developer of the CRASH score for chemotherapy risk assessment in older adults. She has published extensively on the multidimensional geriatric assessment components most predictive of chemotherapy toxicity and functional decline. Her work on integrating geriatric assessment domains into oncology treatment planning has helped define geriatric oncology as a distinct subspecialty.
