Martha Bhatt

Martha Bhatt specializes in developing long non-coding RNA-based diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers for cancer, including liquid biopsy approaches that detect cancer-specific lncRNAs in blood and urine. Her laboratory has validated lncRNA panels for early detection and monitoring of prostate, breast, and colorectal cancers. She has contributed to understanding how exosomal lncRNAs serve as intercellular communication molecules in the tumor microenvironment. Her translational work is bringing non-coding RNA biomarkers from discovery to clinical application.
