Mariano Provencio led the NADIM and NADIM II trials demonstrating unprecedented pathologic complete response and overall survival with neoadjuvant nivolumab plus chemotherapy in resectable stage IIIA NSCLC. His investigator-initiated Spanish trials reshaped the perioperative paradigm worldwide. He continues to study biomarkers of pCR and long-term outcomes.
