Maria-Victoria Mateos

Maria-Victoria Mateos is a prominent European myeloma researcher known for her work on treating high-risk smoldering multiple myeloma. She led the QUIREDEX trial demonstrating that treating high-risk smoldering myeloma with lenalidomide plus dexamethasone prevented progression to active disease. Her research has also advanced maintenance strategies and next-generation regimens for newly diagnosed and relapsed myeloma. She serves as a key investigator in European Myeloma Network trials.
