Manish Shah at Weill Cornell Medicine is a leading gastric and gastroesophageal junction cancer specialist who has contributed to pivotal immunotherapy trials in gastric cancer including KEYNOTE and CHECKMATE series. His research spans HER2-targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and chemotherapy combinations in upper GI malignancies. He has been involved in clinical investigations of trastuzumab deruxtecan in gastric cancer and has contributed to understanding molecular subtypes of GEJ cancer. His translational work has focused on identifying biomarkers that predict immunotherapy benefit in gastric cancer beyond PD-L1.
