Faisal Mahmood

Faisal Mahmood leads the development of CONCH and other foundation models for computational pathology that can analyze whole slide images across cancer types without task-specific training. His vision-language pathology models have demonstrated zero-shot and few-shot capabilities for cancer classification, grading, and molecular subtyping. His lab has pioneered multimodal AI approaches integrating pathology images with genomic and clinical data for comprehensive cancer characterization.
