Madhav Dhodapkar investigates BCL2-targeting with venetoclax in plasma cell disorders including AL amyloidosis, particularly in patients harboring t(11;14) chromosomal translocation — a subgroup with high BCL2 dependence. His research has helped identify molecular determinants of venetoclax sensitivity in amyloidosis and myeloma and contributed to early-phase trials of venetoclax combinations for clonal plasma cell eradication in amyloid patients.
