👥Biography 个人简介

Crystal Mackall founded the Stanford Center for Cancer Cell Therapy and has been a milestone figure in advancing CAR-T cell therapy for pediatric solid tumors, developing GD2-targeted CAR-T cells and other approaches for sarcomas and brain tumors. Her groundbreaking research on T cell exhaustion mechanisms in CAR-T cells has revealed why some patients relapse after initial CAR-T response and identified strategies to overcome exhaustion for more durable remissions. She has established the scientific and clinical infrastructure that is bringing cell therapy to pediatric solid tumors, one of the greatest unmet needs in oncology.
