Lynette Denny

Lynette Denny is a globally recognized gynecologic oncologist who has led landmark studies on HPV-associated vulvar cancer in sub-Saharan Africa, where incidence is higher due to HIV prevalence, and has contributed to understanding the distinct biology of HPV-positive versus HPV-negative vulvar squamous cell carcinoma. She has published on outcomes of radical vulvectomy versus modified radical approaches and the role of chemoradiation in locally advanced vulvar cancer in low-resource settings. She led the first national cervical cancer prevention program in South Africa and serves on WHO gynecologic cancer panels.
