Luis Diaz

Luis Diaz at Memorial Sloan Kettering has made foundational contributions to liquid biopsy-based mutation detection and MSI assessment in cancer. He co-developed the molecular epidemiology approach to cancer surveillance using ctDNA and pioneered blood-based MSI testing as a companion diagnostic for checkpoint inhibitor therapy. His work spans clinical validation of ctDNA for MRD detection across multiple solid tumor types.
