Ming Lu

Ming Lu is a primary developer of the UNI foundation model, a large-scale self-supervised vision transformer pre-trained on over 100 million pathology image patches from diverse cancer types. UNI has demonstrated state-of-the-art transfer learning performance across 34 pathology tasks including cancer detection, subtyping, and biomarker prediction. His work has established new benchmarks for universal pathology feature extraction.
