👥Biography 个人简介
Ake Lu co-developed GrimAge, considered the most powerful epigenetic predictor of lifespan and cancer mortality, which uses DNA methylation surrogates of plasma proteins including PAI-1 and smoking pack-years. GrimAge has been validated across multiple cohorts as a superior predictor of time-to-cancer compared to first-generation clocks. His technical innovations in methylation-based plasma protein estimation have expanded the biomarker toolkit for cancer risk stratification.
