Christopher Lord has pioneered functional genomic screens to identify synthetic lethal vulnerabilities in breast cancer, including studies relevant to E-cadherin-deficient lobular disease. His lab contributed to the discovery that BRCA-deficient cells are sensitive to PARP inhibition. He remains a leader in breast cancer functional genomics.
