Lisa Licitra

Lisa Licitra leads head and neck cancer oncology at the Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori in Milan and is the foremost Italian expert in HNSCC systemic therapy. She has contributed to multiple registrational immunotherapy trials for recurrent/metastatic HNSCC and to the development of ESMO clinical practice guidelines. Her research addresses biomarker identification, combination approaches, and the management of immune-related toxicities in HNSCC. She chairs European cooperative groups and has represented ESMO on international guideline harmonization efforts.
